Anna Maldonado's relationship with jewelry and gemstones started at the beginning of 20th century.
His grandfather, Agapito Maldonado, was a creative and curious man who crossed the Atlantic Ocean to find inspiration in some New World's cities such New York and La Habana. Innovation and exclusive design of the well-known 'Joyero Maldonado' were very popular in our country and also in Europe and he became a jewelry referent that, still today, is present in this sector.

Maldonado's jewelry's art and passion became a lifestyle that was transmitted to the next generation.
His son, José Maldonado, inherit the values and savoir-faire of his father. Besides studying at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, he participated in different contests and international fairs in New York, Dallas, Miami, Panamá, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, Germany, France and Spain.
